Complement Component 3a (C3a) is a key component of the complement system, which is an important part of the innate immune system. C3a is a peptide fragment with 77 amino acid residues, derived from the cleavage of Complement Component 3 (C3) by proteases during complement activation. C3a acts primarily through the transmembrane G-protein receptor C3aR. C3aR receptor is widely expressed in vascular endothelium, myeloid/monocyte, central glial cells, and neuronal cell surface. Studies have shown that C3a/C3aR signaling can mediate phagocytosis and inflammatory response, increase vascular permeability, and regulate synaptic pruning.

| Linearity
